Bass Lake

Huge Ponderosa Pines create a majestic
setting for a fantastic camping experience.
Bass Lake is within walking distance
where you can enjoy the beach, fishing,
water skiing and swimming.

 

Open from mid-May, 2003 to September, 2003.
Spring Cove Campground is located in a mountainous
environment with lakes, streams, and trees. Restrooms
are provided, and firewood is available for sale at the site.
Pay showers, laundry, gas, telephones, and a marina are
available at nearby Millers Landing Resort. Popular
activities include water-skiing, fishing, hiking, a local
Indian museum in North Fork, and a local history
 museum in Oakhurst.

 

Bass Lake

Goat Mountain Trail:

The Goat Mountain Trail starts right from
the Forks Campground on the west
side of Bass Lake. The trail is well
maintained, but does have some rock steps
and blow down that will require you to
occasionally dismount.   

 

007 Trail - Shuteye Peak (Bikes & Motorcycles)

Start at the browns ditch central camp rd
intersection on rd 274. Climb up central
camp rd, past Central camp and Gaggs
camp, about 14 miles. This is the easy part,
3% grade... At little Shuteye pass, about 7300 ft...
Go to the lookout say hi to the guy in the
lookout, sign the guest book, and get one
of the most amazing views there is.
